Position: Factory Manager
Location: Henegama (W.P.), Sri Lanka
We are looking for a dynamic, performance‑driven individual to take on the role of Factory Manager at our coconut processing facility. Established in 1954, D.Y. & D.U. Rajapakse (Private) Limited is a trusted manufacturer of premium coconut kernel products, supplying both local and international markets with globally recognized certifications including ISO 22000, BRCGS, Kosher & USDA Organic.
Responsibilities include:
– Managing daily production operations with strict adherence to quality standards
– Overseeing technical processes, machinery, and production planning
– Supervising staff and addressing labour concerns with professionalism
– Ensuring compliance with food safety and export certifications
– Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
– Maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards
Candidate Profile:
– Diploma/ Degree in production management, manufacturing, engineering, operations management or a related field
– Minimum 5 years’ experience in food or coconut processing industry
– Strong technical knowledge of production systems and equipment
– Proven leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
– Familiarity with ISO, BRCGS, Kosher, USDA Organic standards is an advantage
